The complexity of my feelings I can't place in words. Today the voice I heard while in the womb I can no longer be comforted by. But the voice of my daughter rings loud in my ear! This day for many like me can be hard! It's filled with so many good memories from the past but also new ones from today!

To have had a great mother and be called a mother is a gift from God! That I ask for daily guidance every day on how to be a good steward with this precious gift! I don't always get it right but I know that God's hand is on us each day and that makes it just right for us!

Today always sneaks up on me stunning me to the reality that you are not here. I just want to be your baby girl and get on your nerves make you call my name then see you smile. It hurts some days and I have to hide it inside that you are not here and go on like all fine.

But mom I’m ok! and as much as I want to believe you’re the only one who truly loved me I know is not the truth! I am loved and cherished by so many. I pray that I am half of the selfless mother you were!

I miss you so much but I’m so grateful to God for blessing me with a caring husband, daughter siblings, and friends to help me through life while you are not here!

The loss of my mother during the holiday season has turned this joyful time into a period of isolation and ungratefulness.

My heart mourns my loss and doesn’t see all the people and things I have to be grateful for.

Thanksgiving is a time when our hearts are filled with gratitude Memories are made with people who bring joy to our lives and we recognize and appreciate what we have!

The first of many Friendsgiving I recognize and appreciate the happiness I have been blessed with in friends that are now family and the memories and joy they bring to my life!
