Strategies Cancel Fear
The unknown holds so many mysteries. Fear has been a significant roadblock in my life. Not knowing what tomorrow holds, how I would be received, would I be able to meet the challenges that life presented? I like to call myself a Purpose Pusher an encourager, but here I was shrinking because of the unknown and lies that fear told me.
I am about to embark on a new adventure like Christopher Columbus, its unchartered territory. I have sailed to the edge but never had the strength to go over and discover that the world is round and not flat. This time around, anxiety and fear don’t have a grasp on me. You might say what is different this time? The answer is simply I have a strategy.
Like anything in life, you have to have a plan—a plan for all areas of your life. When I wanted to have a closer relationship with God, I wrote out what I wanted in that relationship, and what I wanted to achieve. Next was what I was going to do to build a better relationship with Him. I knew He was standing with arms open, and I just needed to make Him first in my life. Thirdly I had to examine any areas of weakness that would cause me to fall off and find a solution to stop them. I had to decide what outcome I expected. It might same strange, but I assumed if I followed my strategy and with God’s help, I would have a closer relationship with him.
Without a plan, fear would overwhelm me and made me believe that this couldn’t happen, and I would fail. Nevertheless, the Bible says to write the idea to make it clear.
Then the LORD answered me and said, “Write the vision And engrave it plainly on [clay] tablets So that the one who reads it will run.”Habakkuk 2:2 AMP.
The plan cancels the belief of fear and is now replaced with intention, hope, and expectation.
Whatever dreams you have written down. Come up with a plan on how you are going to execute it. Make sure God is your first consultation He will never lead you wrong😉.
We are overcomers and walk boldly. Remember, strategies cancel the suspicion of fear.
